Connecting the replacement advisor was a challenge for both Mark Mendoza and myself, however, with persistence on both sides it is working perfectly now, connects much quicker than the previous item which eventually failed, thank you Mark

Issues with unit

Unfortunately, I have to be virtually on top of the unit for it to connect with my phone, this would work much better if it had wi-fi capabilities and it keeps losing days of data, I have several holes in the recordings.

Replacing Batteries

I like these units for useful information about your electricity usage HOWEVER the first unit I purchased died in less than 12 months. Zero response from Emerald support eccept FAQ saying you need to buy a new one because the batteries are flat. Not happy but I bought another unit as I hadn't finished my houshold usage research. THEN I CUT OPEN THE OLD UNIT TO FIND 2 AA BATTERIES WHICH WERE EASILY REPLACED... now I have 2 units, 1 for each of the 2 meters I have and one has replacable batteries. Bottom line, useful unit, very poor company attitude... sorry guys.
